Slack is where teams communicate, and the Orbis Slack channel will embed your assistant directly into that workflow. Send a direct message to Orbis in Slack to ask questions, run tools, or kick off multi-step tasks -- all without switching applications. For teams that spend most of their day in Slack, this eliminates one more tab and one more context switch.
Beyond direct messages, Orbis can post notifications and alerts to specific Slack channels. Configure which events trigger a message -- new pull requests, sprint summaries, overdue tasks -- and Orbis delivers them where your team is already looking. Slash commands provide a fast path for common actions, letting you create issues, look up project status, or check schedules with a single command.
The Slack integration is currently in development. When available, it will support both direct message conversations and channel-based notifications, giving your team flexible options for how they interact with Orbis throughout the day.
